Bike tour set in the magnificent landscape of the Folgaria plateau. Starting from the village of Serrada at 1200m you climb up a dirt road in the middle of the wood that slowly ascents crossing the ski slopes of Palera and Martinella to reach enchanted valleys full of meadows and forests that prelude to the summit where the remains of the Fort of the Sommo.
From this point you can admire a beautiful panorama from a particularly exposed spot on the valley of Terragnolo. Descending along paths on ridges and meadows you go down to Passo Coe. Crossing the Baita Camini you will arrive at the Stella d’Italia refuge and from there you will descend ”il Passo Sommo” down to the golf courses and the biotope of Costa di Folgaria.
Take a break and then head back to Fondo Grande and take the Parisa Road and return to Serrada. The journey is not particularly challenging. It develops entirely in the wild and untouched nature, with unique characteristics given by the orographic shape on the plateau of the area, which is very suitable for cycling with mountain bikes. Stunning views, good air and great food in the shelters will accompany you throughout the day
Easy and not particularly demanding path from the physical point of view by tackling it at the right speed without ever rushing. Suitable for relaxed cycling excursions for those who do not want the adrenaline-rush, but to experience nature in a “slow” way.
