The meeting and departure point is at our base in Rovereto, from where you will go on the beautiful cycle path along the Adige River, to the village of Villalagarina. After passing the village you will continue on the asphalt road uphill to the recently restored Castel Corno ruins, along the “Nagustel” road immersed in the greenery and with a wonderful panorama of Vallagarina.
Always climbing, crossing places that in addition to the beauty of the natural aspect evoke fascinating stories of medieval passages and battles, you continue to the Bordala pass, a flat area with fields and crops of high altitude vegetables (cabbages and potatoes) our well-deserved destination for a refreshment break will be at the restaurant of the pass, placed at 1250m. With a last brief effort we will reach S.Barbara at the foot of Mount Stivo our highest point at 1309m.
Now it will all be much easier! It will go down to St. Anna Church, another point for a break. With a wonderful descent through the beautiful Gresta Valley, passing through the impressive Maso Naranch where you can enjoy the incredible landscape on the whole of Lake Garda, you will come back to the valley bottom at the Loppio resort from where along the cycle path with the last 10 km flat will return to Rovereto.
It is quite demanding, even if equipped with E-Bike. Good physical condition is needed. The path does not present any particular technical difficulties. Panoramas and views open on the surrounding valleys.
