Observe Lake Garda from a very particular perspective. This is what we will offer you on this beautiful panoramic tour all built upon on magnificent ridges on the Arco plain.
From our starting point in Torbole, you will reach Arco and the small characteristic village of Varignano in proximity, to slowly climb along a quite demanding hill to the basin of Padaro and Mandrea that then leads to the S. Giovanni al Monte pass until the plain at the foot of Monte Biaina. A dense, cool and refreshing forest will welcome you for a break and allow us to prepare for a last effort of a light climb, toned down by the use of your power-assisted MTBs.
The trail continues by following a very nice path that is substantially flat with some pleasant waves and panoramic views. From here to Gorghi, the tour reaches S. Pietro and on the road you continue to arrive at the Cross of Bondiga, a panoramic observation point on Lake Garda.
Next steps will be to St. Peter of Tenno, Calvola, Ville del Monte, descending through cultivated and rustic slopes of countryside to Tenno, near the castle. The itinerary on the dirt road provides the last demanding downhill slope to the valley. A steep but very fun and challenging path will allow us the fantastic view of Riva and the lake.
There is a difficult climb on the first stretch from Varignano partly on cemented road. On the last part of the tour there is a technical and demanding, but not extreme descent.
