A bike tour that connects two separate areas of a ridge on top of which there are large meadows where centuries-old beech trees have settled and all through which there are wonderful dirt roads to ride our bikes. “Afterall” connects Vallagarina with the Bordala area, a plateau at the foot of Mount Stivo, at an altitude of 1100 meters, with the slopes of Val di Gresta. The beauty of this tour consists of great pleasure of pedalling on the flat in an area rich in gardens and cultivated fields after the fatigue of the climb that starts from Rovereto, and crosses Marano, Sasso, Castellano reaching the Passo Bordala where a break and some relaxation awaits us.
The route continues to the Somator refuge along a very characteristic road between meadows and beech trees, to the little church of San Bernardo where you will descend to the rebuilt village of Corniano after its abandonment in 1600 due to the plague. You will then pass to the Romanesque church of Sant’Agata and then climb up to a small hill from which you will descend towards Lenzima and again to Rovereto.
A particularly intense climb but with smooth and harmonious slopes. Not technically difficult.
